In terms of U.S. stocks, U.S. stocks generally rose this week, and the biggest risers included Tesla, Nvidia, American Express, Meta, AMD and Apple, which rose by 33.32%, 14.17%, 13.66%, 8.92%, 7.62% and 5.83% respectively. Affected by the good news of the results announcement, the optimism in the market continues to rise. The cumulative increase this month is really amazing. I believe that many people have already started or are preparing to leave the market at a profit. Although I don’t know whether there will be a pullback or a drop in a short period of time, I still believe that the stock market can create wealth in the long run. Good companies will be able to innovate continuously, thereby creating value and allowing investors to gain good returns.
In terms of Hong Kong stocks, although not as high as the rise of U.S. stocks, they are not bad. Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (HK stock code: 9988), Tencent (HK stock code: 700), China Merchants Bank (HK stock code: 3968), Xiaomi Corp (HK stock code: 1810) and Meituan rose 0.86%, 5.92%, 4.05%, 13.49% and 4.05%, respectively. During the Chinese New Year holidays in the mainland China, it is constantly reported that the number of people related to tourism and corresponding economic activities are very strong, and even the box office of cinema continues to set new records. The current economic climate is really good, and I hope it can be extended to the performance of various industries. I believe that all the companies I hold can benefit from the prosperity and development of the Chinese economy.
Regarding the three long call options Palantir, BABA and ARKK in my positions, record the closing prices of this week as $0.38, $42 and $5.05 respectively. This week, options are not changed much this week, and I will wait patiently. So far, I am still full of confidence in their future.
