Bought bond

- Bond: TACN 6.5 03/15/40
- Face coupon rate: 6.5%
- Maturity date: March 15, 2040
- Bought face value: US$3000
- Bought bond price: US$98
- Commission fee: US$10
- Bond yield: 6.68%
Bought reit
- Simon Property Group Inc (US stock code: SPG)
- Quantity: 10 shares
- Bought price: US$107.36
- Commission fee: US$0.35

Reasons of buying US bond TransAlta, Simon Property, Mapletree Industrial and Ascendas Reit
Yesterday, I bought the bond of TransAlta with the remaining idle funds. I already have this U.S. bond in my position. The interest rate of 6.5% is not very high, but its advantage is stable. The purpose of this portfolio is to get a fixed income. In terms of returns, I think this rate of return is in line with expectations, so I decided to add to it.
In addition, I continued to buy Simon Property today, increase its position to a level I think is appropriate, and then I’ll leave it alone, hoping to get a stable return. I think Simon Property is one of the best domestic commercial Reit in the United States, and the management level is also very good in my opinion.
The rest of the money was bought into Mapletree Industrial and Ascendas Reit, raising positions of my Singapore Reit’s to about the same level. So far, the original RW0U positions have all been reallocated.
