Reasons of buying Fortune Reit
The pandemic situation in Hong Kong continues to heat up. Today, the number of new cases in a single day has exceeded 50,000. According to the analysis of some investment banks, a large proportion of property leases of Fortune Reit will expire within one or two years. They believe that the recent pandemic will affect the number of newly signed leases. The rental income has caused the stock price of Fortune Reit to drop significantly today. I think this is the time to buy when others are abandoning it, so I used the cash in the portfolio to increase my holdings of Fortune. I think the pandemic will eventually pass, and then the rent collection of the shopping mall properties in Hong Kong will recover in the long run.
