Abstract: Explain the reasons of buying US stock Paypal (PYPL) and MasterCard (MA) and share my views.

What I want to share with you today is the transaction I made on December 1. The details are as follows:

• Commission fee: US$0.34

Bought stock

• Mastercard Incorporated (US stock code: MA)
• Quantity: 2 shares
• Bought price: US$306.99
• Commission fee: US$0.35

Reasons for buying Paypal and MasterCard

Yesterday the U.S. stocks fell again collectively. Some stocks in my portfolio fell by more than 5%. I chose to add more positions in Paypal and MasterCard, which only dropped about 3%. This is mainly because these two holdings accounted for the least proportion, so I took the opportunity to balance the positions to add more of them.

Paypal and MasterCard have not had any new bad news recently. Their decline is just following the downward adjustment of the market. The recent downturn in market sentiment is mainly due to concerns that the pandemic will worsen due to the Omicron variant virus. Although some countries have also begun to implement new lock down policies, I am still quite optimistic that the coronavirus should become weaker and weaker (referring to lethality), so I believe that the direction of the world’s reopening will not change. When it is gradually opened up, it is believed that it will be positively helpful to the business of financial payment companies.
