Reasons of buying Realty Income Corp
After buying more of five HK reits yesterday, I found that the my US reits account for a relatively smaller contribution in the portfolio, and there was still a certain amount of cash level, so I decided to increase the holding of Realty Income Corporation (O). I believe that if you have experience in investing in U.S. reits, you should be familiar with O. The current market value of Realty Income Corp is US$27.7 billion. It is a large-scale real estate investment trust fund. The tenants of its properties include many large companies such as 7 -Eleven, FedEx, AMC cinemas and Walmart, etc. In addition, this reit has another advantage, which is the monthly dividend distribution. Moreover, the company claims on its official website that since its listing in 1994, its average annual compound return is 15.3%. Investing in this US reit can definitely give you peace of mind in holding it for a long time.
Reasons of buying Lumen Technologies corporate bond
I have already held this US corporate bond in my portfolio and have held it for a period of time. The business is stable, the rating is high, and the bond yield is above 7%, which is considered very good, so I decided to increase my holding of it.
Reasons of selling DISH DBS Corp bond
The reason is very simple. The bond yield dropped to about 4.6% due to the rise in the bond price. To be honest, I don’t think this yield rate is very attractive in terms of bonds, so I decided to sell it as the price was high, and then I will take the opportunity to look for other investment targets to pursue higher fixed return rate.
